Cleanse and dry your face thoroughly. Apply a small amount of product to area to be treated. Pat and smooth then wait at least two minutes until fully absorbed into the skin. Repeat the application a second or third time for deep lines or as needed.

For my review I received a few samples of Freeze 24/7 Instant Targeted Wrinkle Treatment from EssentialDermCare.com. Since it's an instant treatment which effect lasts no more than 24 hours, these samples were enough to form an opinion about it.

This wrinkle treatment has a nice texture - it's light cream, white in color. Even though this wrinkle treatment is fragrance-free it has a barely there scent which I don't know how to describe, sorry guys!

This wrinkle treatment is very easy to apply and fast-absorbing. You really see results straight away. My mother-in-law used this and we both were surprised with how it reduced the appearance of wrinkles and how it made her skin smooth and firm. She said it's a miracle in the jar. I used this on myself and since I don't have wrinkles it reduced the size my pores ^_^ I love the effect even though it's short-term - no more than 24 hours. I would call Freeze 24/7 Instant Targeted Wrinkle Treatment a 'weekend treatment' or a 'special occasions treatment'. But of course you can use it everyday if you want to always look your best ^_^	Средство легко наносится и быстро впитывается. Результат действительно виден сразу. Сначала это средство от морщин попробовала свекровь, и мы обе были приятно удивлены тем, что ее морщины заметно уменьшились, а кожа стала гладкой и упругой. Она назвала это средство чудом в баночке. Потом я испытала его на себе, и так как у меня нет морщин, оно уменьшило мои поры ^_^ Эффект мне понравился даже с учетом того, что он такой непродолжительный - не более 24 часов. You can see it in action on the swatch pic above - there's a small area of unusual smooth skin near the swatched treatment. This is where the treatment was already absorbed and started to work. Elizabeth Grant Exclusives Algophyte Treatment Red Algae Radiance Mask, 

Red Algae Radiance Mask is a light cream, peach in color and with a fresh fruit scent. It contains tiny exfoliating particles, and I love to massage this mask on my face for a couple of minutes even if it isn't stated in the instrucrions to do so. I use this twice weekly, I massage it for a couple of minutes, let it sit for 20 minutes, then remove with a damp cloth and rinse with lots of water. This mask is hard to remove! I love the effect - freshness and radiance.	Маска С Красными Водорослями Для Сияния Кожи представляет собой нежный крем персикового цвета со свежим фруктовым запахом. Она содержит мельчайшие скрабирующие частички, и я люблю пару минут помассировать лицо с этой маской, даже если об этом нет ни слова в инструкции. Использую эту маску дважды в неделю, массирую пару минут, оставляю на 20 минут, потом убираю влажной тканевой салфеткой и смываю большим количеством воды. Эта маска сложно и долго смывается! Эффект мне нравится - свежая сияющая кожа.
Blue Algae Purifying Mask is a thick cream, pale blue in color, and has a wonderful scent of peaches ^_^ I used this twice weekly - 1 time on the whole face and 1 time only on the T-zone. (I have finished this mask this month.) I followed the instructions when I used it. There were no problems with applying or removing. The effect was great - less visible pores and smoother skin texture. This purifying mask doesn't dry the skin out, rather the opposite - it leaves the skin moisturized.	Очищающая Маска С Голубыми Водорослями - это плотный крем бледно-голубого цвета, замечательно пахнущий персиками ^_^ Я пользовалась этой маской 2 раза в неделю - один раз на все лицо и один раз только на Т-зону. (Эта маска у меня закончилась в этом месяце.) Я следовала инструкциям, когда пользовалась ей. При нанесении и смывании маски никаких проблем не было. Эффект был хороший - были менее заметны поры и ровнее текстура кожи. Эта очищающая маска не сушит кожу, скорее наоборот, увлажняет ее.
Black Algae Anti-Aging Mask is a black translucent gel with algae scent (this mask is fragrance-free). When you apply this to your face it goes on almost clear. I use this twice weekly  following the instructions. This mask is applied and remowed easily. As for the effect, it leaves the skin wonderfully moisturised. I don't have wrinkles so I can't say anything about how it deals with them, but I believe it's good as a preventive premature aging treatment.	Антивозрастная Маска Для Лица С Бурыми Водорослями представляет собой черный прозрачный гель с запахом водорослей (эта маска не ароматизирована). Когда наносишь ее на лицо, она кажется почти бесцветной. Я пользуюсь ей 2 раза в неделю, следуя инструкции. Наносится и смывается легко. Что касается эффекта, маска чудесно увлажняет кожу. У меня нет морщин, поэтому я не могу сказать, как она с ними справляется, но думаю, маска хороша как профилактика преждевременного старения кожи.

My experience

Both products come in plastic tubes with a flip-cap, packaged in an adorable cardboard box. Smoothing Exfoliator comes with a buffer tool.

Both products have nice creamy texture, they even smells the same - undefined barely there creamy scent (these products are fragrance-free). The only difference is that Smoothing Exfoliator has exfoliating particles.

I use both products daily unless I forget to take them with me when I'm going to take a shower. BTW I never store cosmetic products in the bathroom because it's too hot and humid there so I think the cabinet (dark dry place) is better for keeping cosmetics fresh. I have been using Dare To Bare Duo since April and I have noticed decent improvement in the skin texture on the back of my arms. Red bumps are almost gone ^_^ I also use these on my elbows, knees and other rough areas and it makes them softer, smoother and moisturized. A little goes a long way since you need only a little per use.	Я пользуюсь дуэтом Dare To Bare с апреля, и за это время я заметила, что состояние кожи на задней поверхности рук улучшилось. Прыщики исчезли практически полностью ^_^ Я также использую этот скраб и молочко для локтей, коленей и прочих загрубевших участков кожи, и они становятся более гладкими, мягкими и увлажненными. Расходуются они экономично, потому что для каждого применения нужно совсем немного средства.
The buffer tool which comes with Smoothing Exfoliator is a good little tool, it works great not only with this scrub but also with others and on its own.	Мочалка, которая идет со Smoothing Exfoliator (разглаживающим скрабом) - хорошая вещица, отлично ведет себя не только с этим скрабом, но и с другими, а также сама по себе.

Overall I like Dare To Bare Duo, both products do what they claim, are decent and worth the money. However I don't think they are a necessity so I'm not going to repurchase. I will continue to use my fave homemade scrub - olive oil + unrefined cane sugar ^_^

History Of Men's Swimwear

I hope you're really enjoying last days of summer! I'm not back from the vacation yet but I'd like to tell you about he history of men's swimwear today.

History Of Men's Swimwear

When you think of the history of swimwear, for most of us it’s the evolution of the bikini that immediately springs to mind. Interestingly though, men's swimwear has undergone just as much transformations over the years. From full-body bathing suits to the contemporary man-kini, here’s a look at the evolution of men’s swimwear.

The early years

Records suggest that in ancient times swimming was always done nude, or possibly in a loincloth in regions such as Japan and other parts of Northern Asia.

In the UK, up until the mid-19th century, individual counties declared the law for swimming attire and also enforced strict rules about the age at which a man was required to cover up.

In 1860, the idea of swimming nude received a nation-wide ban. Instead, men began swimming in the new 'modest' styles of the time, which included a long sleeve and long-leg wet wool suit. This form-fitting garment could weigh as much as 9 lbs and had a tendency to fall down. This inconvenient solution remained in style for close to a century. 

The 20th century

Last century saw the most radical changes to both men's and women's bathing attire and the options that were on offer. As with women's swimwear, it took a long time before accepted attitudes would undergo any change and styles would begin to alter.

Up until 1917 it was legally required that bathing suits were not made of white or flesh coloured fabrics as they were deemed to be too suggestive. Also, nothing below the armpits could be shown on the chest.

Men's suits also needed to include a skirt, which was worn outside the trunks. The leg could not be shorter than 4 inches from the knee.

As the controversy over the declining modesty of women's swimsuits eventually entered the mainstream, men's styles grew shorter and more revealing as well. By 1943, an off-the-shoulder one-piece wasn't uncommon for men.

In 1955, the company Speedo introduced a nylon racing-style 'speedo' suit. The string-tied bikini brief style became so popular that similar styles today are still referred to as 'Speedos'.

More revealing men's swimsuits continued to emerge, ranging from the thong and G-strings, to the unusual man-kini styles which are typically more popular in tropical areas.

By the 1990s, however, society took another turn towards increasing modesty for men as baggier fashions became stylish again. Board shorts, or boardies, became increasingly long and loose-fitting. 

It was only with the release of the hugely successful 2006 film Casino Royale that swimwear started to shrink again. Following an endorsement by actor Daniel Craig, the latest incarnation of James Bond, form-fitting boy-leg briefs have had another huge surge in popularity.

You have probably noticed lack of post recently... Well, I am on a vacation now. It was an impulse decision, I just needed to take a break from all the stress of my everyday life. I live by the sea so I decided to catch up on going to the beach ^_^ Everyday I spend 6-10 hours there - swimming, tanning, listening to the music and reading Russian classic literature. I'll be back in a week or so ^_^

Это было спонтанным решением, мне просто нужна была передышка от всего того стресса, в который превратилась моя жизнь.
