Today I'd like to tell you about my experience with Yves Rocher Sebo Specific Line.

I use four products from Yves Rocher Sebo Specific range: Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser, Mattifying Toner, Ultra Matt Shine Reducing Moisturizer, and Zero Blemish Pore Refining Care. I chosen Sebo Specific line as I wanted something that would help me to control my combination / oily skin. 

I started to use these products in summer, then in September / October I took a break for a month and used cleanser, toner and moisturizer from Liz Earle. Now my Liz Earle products are kept in the refrigerator for storage and I'm back to Yves Rocher.

Directions:

Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser - Remove makeup and cleanse your skin by creating a lather from the gel using water. Gently massage the lathering gel on your face. Then rinse well.

Mattifying Toner - Remove makeup and cleanse skin by applying the lotion to your face, using a cotton pad.

Ultra Matt Shine Reducing Moisturizer - Apply cream to clean skin.

Zero Blemish Pore Refining Care - Apply cream to clean skin.

My experience: I'd like to start my review with the pic of all four products I use from Yves Rocher Sebo Specific line. As you can see, the packaging of the products in this line are simple and clean, featuring green color and floral pattern. Both creams come in cardboard boxes produced from managed forests.

Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser is packaged in a clear green plastic bottle with a screw-on cap which is not very comfortable to use, pump bottle would be a lot better!

This cleanser is a foaming one with exfoliating particles, very sparsely dispersed so they seem to be useless. Anyways, it is a good cleanser. I use it morning / evening. It makes my skin feel fresh and clean without drying it out.

Mattifying Toner is packaged in a white plastic bottle with a screw-on cap. Even though I wouldn't spray this straight to my face because it contains alcohol and it would be hard to avoid eye area doing so, I would like this to be packaged in a spray bottle, because it's more hygienic!

I use this morning / evening after the cleanser. It's a great way to finish the cleansing routine, it's very refreshing. However i don't knoe anything about its mattifying properties because I always use a moisturizer after it.

Ultra Matt Shine Reducing Moisturizer is packaged in a clear glass jar with a screw on cap, and again, I'd prefer tube or pump bottle packaging for hygienic reasons.

This is a very light cream, it's absorbed into the skin very quickly and leaves the skin matte with a powdery feeling to the touch. This is due to the talc in it. It also helps to neutralize redness because of its green color. What about its mattifying properties, when I used this is the summer, in one or two minutes after applying it began to flow down my face and I was left with a shiny face. When I use it now, it leaves my skin matte for 5-6 hours but I need more moisture than I can get from this... 

I use it as a day time moisturizer as recommended on its cardboard packaging.

Zero Blemish Pore Refining Care comes in a clear glass jar the same as Ultra Matt Shine Reducing Moisturizer comes in.

It's recommended to restrict exposure to the sun while using it (this is stated on the cardboard packaging) so I use it as a night time moisturizer. It feels like a light gel-cream and it's absorbed into the skin very fast too. It leaves the same matte finish with powdery feeling as Ultra Matt Shine Reducing Moisturizer does and it helps to neutralize redness as well. Honestly, I didn't noticed any reducing in pore size. Also, I can't say anything about minimizing blemishes and such because I have clear skin with some occasional pimples, about one or two a month, and this cream has no effect on them. It has the same mattifying properties as Ultra Matt Shine Reducing Moisturizer, haha)  

And both moisturizers rub off! That means they are not makeup friendly, but I got used to this and finally it didn't put a crimp into applying and wearing my makeup.

All four products have a green fresh scent with a hint of berries and hemp to my taste. This scent is quite strong but it's not annoying.

Overall I have mixed emotions about my experience with Yves Rocher Sebo Specific line... It has its good and bad points but after second thoughts I know I won't buy it again. I prefer moisturizing creams and I can always get a matte finish with mattifying primers, blotting papers and powders^^ 

Mattifying creams seem to be not working well for me, or maybe I choose wrong ones? If you have any suggestions for great mattifying products, please, let me know!

I purchased one for myself last year) I love this perfume, this is my signature scent. Everybody asks me about my perfume and where did I purchased it. The most wonderful part is that I didn't notice the scent after about 10-15 minutes or so but people say it lasts very long time on me. However I'm not sure that everyone will love it because it's a very unique scent and it reveals its notes different ways on different people.

My experience: Fräulein3°8 Fashion Color Nail Polish comes in a stylish square bottle with a silver toned cap and it's neatly packed in a small box with floral print on it. Directions and ingredients list are printed on the inside of the box.

The polish itself is a bit runny to my taste but it's well pigmented and I need only two coats for full opacity. The brush is really nice and  fits my small nails well, I don't have any problems with the application. Whet it's dry it gives good glossy finish without bubbles and such.

I love this nude color with balanced undertones, it will suit every skin tone and it makes the hands look so well groomed and polished.

The staying is about 2-3 days on my thin nails. I think it will last about 6-7 days for those people with healthy and hard nails.

Today my blog is being handed over to the fabulous Cindy Clark, to take us through the habits that cause wrinkles.

5 Habits That Cause Wrinkles

Wrinkles are a fact of life, and it’s the main reason why people turn to BOTOX and fillers. But you can certainly delay the development of wrinkles by avoiding these lifestyle habits that have been scientifically proven to contribute to creases and furrows:

1. Sleeping on your front, with your face jammed into the pillow.
We need about 8 hours of rest to keep wrinkles at bay, because it’s at night that our body repairs itself. When we sleep, our skin addresses the damage caused by the environment and lifestyle habits, attempting to heal. However, sleeping on your front may not be the best position to get your beauty rest. Here’s why: press something hard into your skin and hold for a few seconds, then remove it. Do you see the imprint left behind? Now imagine your face, pressing down into your pillow for hours in the same position. Chances are, your cheek is pushed up, squishing the delicate skin around your eye and making it wrinkled. When we’re young, your skin is able to smooth out. But as collagen and elastin levels taper off in our latter years, those wrinkles won’t be able to smooth away as nicely, and you’ll have wrinkles just because you slept on your front.

Solution: Sleep on your back, without touching pressing your face up on anything.

2. Not moisturizing.
One primary reason we develop wrinkles is related to the decrease in our skin’s moisture levels, which means it isn’t as supple and elastic. Dry skin is wrinkled more easily, and that’s why it’s so important that you moisturize using a product that’s designed for your skin.

Solution: Always, always apply moisturizer after cleansing and as the final step in your skincare regimen.

3. Sunworshipping.
It’s a proven fact that UV exposure directly causes wrinkles, along with a host of other signs of aging (pigmentation problems, redness, roughness, etc.). UV contributes to the disintegration of collagen and elastin. It is damaging to our skin and should be avoided at all times of the year.

Solution: At the peak of summer or the depths of winter, apply sunscreen and limit exposure to 5 minutes or under (just so you can get your Vitamin D). You’ll be rewarded with younger, more supple skin that is far smoother than your sunworshipping friends!

4. Not drinking enough water.
You knew we’d get to this one eventually! Never mind that scientists have not proven drinking a lot of water directly contributes to the moisture in your skin keeping well hydrated allows our bodily functions and processes to operate at optimal levels. When we drink water, it encourages toxins and waste to flush from our system, enabling our skin to become healthier.

Solution: Drink the recommended 2 litres of fresh water daily. You can reduce this amount accordingly if you’ve eaten a lot of juicy fruit and vegetables.

5. Not sweating.
Sweating is good for you, and the best way to do it is to exercise! Not only will you keep your body in top form, you’ll also be flushing away toxins and clearing your pores of trapped debris and dead skin cells – gunk that makes your complexion lackluster and more prone to developing wrinkles.

Solution: Get up off that couch! Aim to do at least 20 minutes of exercise everyday. Start slowly with a long walk around the neighbourhood, then add weight training to improve your metabolism.
